Trail Conditions
Sawyer County Trail Condition Report and Trail Map: 3/8/10
The last week of warm weather has trashed our trails. The lakes are still good and the stakes are still standing. In the event we get one of those March storms or even just a few inches we would once again be riding. Let’s hope for one last hurrah? Sawyer County never closes the snowmobile trails but common sense dictates that the lakes need to be safe and depending on weather they could for a couple more weeks?
There are people out on ATV’s today. The federal forest closes their ATV trails from March 15th to May 1st. The trails on Sawyer County land shouldn’t be closed due to the amount of money that was put into them to make them sustainable threw the spring thaw. Look at the Sawyer County Snowmobile and ATV map for specific ATV trails restrictions. The new UTV bill was signed last week. So UTV’s will be legal on the ATV trails in Sawyer County for another two year period.
Any questions on the trails can be directed to Bryon Schroeder at bryon@haywardpowersports.com.
